Description
Second-Generation Upgrades
The new iteration of the Mic 2 features upgraded transmitter units with 2.4GHz digital wireless technology and Bluetooth. Bluetooth allows you to connect the transmitters to your DJI Mimo app via an iOS or Android device. You can even connect directly to your Osmo Pocket 3 or Osmo Action 4 camera. Use the Mimo app to adjust settings like Intelligent Noise Cancellation, which reduces ambient noise for clearer vocal capture, or enable 32-bit floating audio recording.
Portable, Wearable Microphones
For a truly wireless experience, easily attach the transmitters to your clothing using the built-in back clips or included magnetic clips—no need to wire yourself or your talent.
You can also hold the transmitters in hand and use them as handheld mics. Use the transmitters as lavalier mics (no separate mic required), or operate them as traditional transmitters by connecting external lav mics (sold separately).
The built-in microphones feature omnidirectional pickup patterns that ensure reliable voice capture, even if mic placement isn’t ideal—your subject’s voice is recorded with clarity, intelligibility, and consistency.
Two furry windshields are included to effectively reduce wind noise during recording.
Enjoy up to 6 hours of battery life per unit, with a total of 18 hours using the charging case.
High-Quality Audio with Post-Production Flexibility
DJI Mic 2 allows you to capture high-fidelity professional audio that accurately reproduces tone across a wide frequency range. Monitor your sound through the receiver’s 3.5mm headphone output while recording to ensure clean audio.
Safety Track mode lets you record a secondary mono track at -6 dB lower than the main track, offering protection against unexpected audio peaks.
Built-in Recorder & Safety Track
The transmitters include onboard recording with 8GB of internal storage—enough for up to 14 hours of 48kHz 24-bit backup recordings. This allows you to record directly on the transmitters as a backup in case of wireless interference or dropouts. You can also use the transmitters as standalone recorders.
Files are saved in mono WAV format at 48kHz/24-bit and can be transferred to your computer via USB-C. Enable 32-bit floating recording through the Mimo app for greater dynamic range.
Reliable & Secure Wireless with Encryption
DJI Mic 2 can record crystal-clear audio at distances of up to 820 feet (250 meters) using DJI’s encryption technology for secure communication.
The optimized wireless transmission system ensures a stable and reliable audio stream even in crowded environments like train stations, shopping malls, or office spaces.
It avoids interference from TV and radio waves by operating in the 2.4GHz band, which lies beyond the typical range of UHF wireless mic systems, TV broadcasts, and radio transmissions.
